Capturing Expressions Authentically.

Originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Kyle was raised unconventionally by parents who had an eye for art and culture. After graduating High School, she studied wine and viticulture, which eventually led her to working in the Texas Hill Country wine region just west of Austin from 2013-2020.

"My journey as an artist started at the beginning of 2020, right after my son was born and the world shut down for Covid. Like many other extroverts in the service industry, this time proved to be mentally and emotionally challenging, forcing me to explore other avenues and interests. While I grew up around art and have always had an appreciation for it, I had barely picked up a paintbrush, let alone a watercolor brush before the age of 25! One day a friend asked me to attempt a portrait of her dog and we were both pleasantly surprised by the outcome. Several other friends and family members requested portraits as well, kick-starting my career in painting."

 

in 2022, Kyle moved back to the Mississippi coast where, in addition to painting and raising her two young children, she works part-time at a local coffee shop. Although she enjoys interacting with customers in a face-to-face context and putting her customer-service skills to use on a regular basis, she hopes to eventually be able to paint full-time, and develop herself as an artist.
